The approach I took to this was my OBSESSION about Connie Converse, having spent the previous month listening to nothing else and reading the book about her (NB if you haven't listened to her stuff I would HIGHLY recommend it, although the Wikipedia page is pretty much as good as the full book). I thought I'd try and write something that could be recorded like all her stuff was, just live in a room, but with much less competent finger picking and singing. I feel I achieved this triumphantly!

Also, it turned out to be much easier to make the words fit that I expected but that was (as stated on the podcast) probably because all my own songs have far too many words in!
