Every now and again John The Publisher sends me a list of BRIEFS that production companies have issued, asking for songs and instrumental music for TV Shows and Films. One day I saw one asking for "quirky" covers for hit songs from the 1980s. I had some time free, so ended up doing a couple of songs including THIS one. I only BARELY knew of the song and had to listen to it quite a few times to get the HANG of it and when, as ever, MY version of "quirky" turned out to be a LOT more quirky than was required, this song was placed gently back on the shelf!
